Open source · Self-hosted

The complete product. Open source. Yours to run .

Olivares AI is open-core. The entire product is free and open source under AGPL-3.0 — not a stripped-down "community edition", but the same code we would sell. Run it on your own infrastructure, inspect every line, and keep your data where it belongs.

How it is licensed

Three licenses, one product

AGPL-3.0 The product

The entire product, self-hosted, free. AGPL-3.0 is strong copyleft, including the network clause: run a modified version as a service and you offer your changes back. No feature gates on the core.

Apache-2.0 Connector SDK

The connector SDK is Apache-2.0, so anyone can build connectors without copyleft friction. Connector breadth is the open ecosystem, and it should grow freely.

Commercial When copyleft does not fit

A commercial license grants an exemption from the AGPL obligations, and an enterprise tier adds dedicated, negotiated terms — for organizations that cannot adopt copyleft. You pay for the license, not for features.

Your infrastructure, your data

You run it. You own the data. You answer to no one to try it.

Runs in your environment

Self-hosted, with no mandatory calls home. Your estate stays your estate.

Evaluate without asking permission

Clone it, run it, decide for yourself. No sales gate, no trial clock, no account required to self-host.

The repository is the product

The public repository, its README and its issues are where the product lives and where adoption starts.

Community-built connectors

The Apache-2.0 connector SDK is the open surface for the community to extend coverage without friction.

Open code, protected name

Olivares AI is open source — fork it, study it, build on it. The Olivares AI name and logo are trademarks: please don’t ship your fork under our name.

Contributing

Contributions are welcome under a Contributor License Agreement, which is what keeps the open-core model — a free product plus a commercial exemption — possible.

Read the code. Run it yourself.
