Pricing · Open-core

The full product is free, for as many people as you like. You pay for the licence and the job, never for a seat.

Olivares AI is open-core. The complete control plane is free under AGPL-3.0, self-hosted, with unlimited users — there is no seat count to buy at any tier. A Business licence adds the commercial exemption for the runtime, the maintained signed release channel and the Starter preset. Four optional add-ons price the jobs a regulated or large-scale deployment actually has. What is open stays open.

Self-hosted

You run it, on infrastructure you control

Two ways to run the same open product. Community is the whole thing, free. Business is the same platform with a commercial licence, a maintained signed channel and the option to attach the jobs your deployment actually has.

Community

AGPL-3.0

Free

Unlimited users. The complete product.

For any team that can adopt AGPL-3.0 — from one person to the whole company.

  • The full AGPL-3.0 platform, self-hosted — not a cut-down edition.
  • Unlimited users. No seat count, no user cap, no licence key.
  • One active identity provider (OIDC or SAML).
  • Self-hosted on infrastructure you control.
  • Public releases and public security fixes.
  • Community support through the public repository, no SLA.

Business

Commercial licence

Price at launch /month

per deployment, not per user

USD, business-to-business, tax exclusive · Dodo Payments is the merchant of record and charges the tax that applies to you.

For organizations whose policy cannot adopt AGPL-3.0, or who want the maintained signed channel.

  • Everything in Community, still with unlimited users.
  • Commercial licence — the AGPL exemption for the runtime.
  • Rolling release channel: immutable releases and a signed pointer, and you approve every upgrade plan.
  • Starter preset: reporting, onboarding, threat-intelligence catalog on a declared cadence, tool pinning, NIS 2 incident decision support, and a post-quantum posture assessment of the control plane itself.
  • One active identity provider; business-hours email support, best effort, no SLA.

Attach only the jobs you have

Four add-ons, each priced by the work it does. Every one of them requires Business and renews on the same date as Business — they are options on your plan, not plans of their own.

  • Regulated Operations

Retention, erasure and legal hold you can evidence.

    Price at launch

  • AI Runtime Security

Inspect and stop what agents send and run.

    Price at launch

  • Compliance Packs

Draft the registers and reports an audit asks for.

  • Identity & Scale

More than one identity provider, enforced — plus a durable bus.

    Price at launch

Requires Business

Two worked examples

These are Business with add-ons attached, and the price is simply the sum of the lines. There is no bundle SKU and no bundle discount.

  • Business + Regulated Operations

    Price at launch

For deployments carrying retention, erasure and legal-hold duties they have to evidence.

  • Business with all four add-ons

    Price at launch

For regulated, multi-identity, large-scale deployments that want every job covered.

Computed subtotal — not a bundle SKU, and no bundle discount.

Business on its own.

Air-gap, OEM or redistribution, more than two production deployments, or more than five active identity providers? That is Enterprise.

Cloud

We run it for you

A managed control plane on shared AWS infrastructure in us-east-1, prepaid. The free option stays self-hosted Community; there is no cloud trial. Cloud is honest about what it is not — the list is below, in full.

Cloud Standard

Price at launch /month

USD, business-to-business, tax exclusive · Dodo Payments is the merchant of record and charges the tax that applies to you.

For teams who want the control plane running today without operating it themselves.

  • Shared AWS us-east-1, Single-AZ database. One active identity provider.
  • Model provider keys are always yours; boot refuses a configuration carrying operator keys.
  • Immutable archive only in your own S3 Object Lock bucket — your account, your cost, and it survives cancellation.
  • Hard usage caps with a graceful pause: a warning at 80%, a pause at 100%, never discarding evidence.
  • Daily backup and 7-day point-in-time recovery; the RPO and RTO are documented, not committed to as an SLA.
  • Business-hours email support, best effort.
  • Cancelling stops the next renewal; it never shortens or prorates the paid term.
  • Restorable export back to self-hosted Business if you leave.

You cannot buy this yet: we are finishing the payment route and confirming the operating costs behind it. Tell us you want it and we will come back to you when it opens.

Cloud Scale

Capacity pack Not on sale yet

Price at launch /month

per capacity pack

USD, business-to-business, tax exclusive · Dodo Payments is the merchant of record and charges the tax that applies to you.

For a single tenant that has outgrown the Standard caps and wants headroom without leaving the managed plane.

A capacity pack on top of the same managed plane. One pack multiplies most of the Standard caps by five; you can take at most two packs, and two packs bill twice with no discount.

  • Five times the Standard caps, per pack, on eleven of the fourteen limits.
  • Two exceptions, and they are different. Retention does not multiply at all — it is a product cap. Active identity providers do go to five with a pack, but a second pack does not make them ten.
  • One or two packs per subscription. Two packs bill at twice the price — there is no quantity discount. Beyond two, that is an Enterprise capacity review.
  • Priority email queue. It is a queue, not a promised response time.

Cloud Scale is built and shown here, but it is not for sale yet: each of its capacity and module gates has to pass first. We would rather show you what it is and tell you it is not ready than sell it and be wrong.

The caps, in full

These are the actual limits, published rather than discovered after you buy. Reaching one warns you at 80% and pauses gracefully at 100% — it never discards evidence and never bills you an overage.

The caps, in full
Cloud Standard Cloud Scale
Service accounts 10 50
Connected sources 10 50
New sessions per month 25,000 125,000
Evidence retained 5 GiB 25 GiB
Evidence written per month 5 GiB 25 GiB
Minimum retention 1 day 1 day
Default retention 30 days 30 days
Maximum retention 90 days 365 days
Requests per month 500,000 2,500,000
Sustained rate 2/second 10/second
Burst 10 requests 50 requests
Inspection per month 5 GiB 25 GiB
Egress per month 10 GB 50 GB
Active identity providers 1 5

Scale figures are per capacity pack. Two exceptions, and they are different. Retention does not multiply at all — it is a product cap. Active identity providers do go to five with a pack, but a second pack does not make them ten.

Service accounts are a quota of the managed control plane, not a user limit. Users are unlimited here too, and nothing in the self-hosted product counts them.

What Cloud does not promise

Written down rather than left for you to assume. If you need any of these, that is Enterprise or self-hosted.

  • No uptime SLA.
  • No contractual recovery-time objective.
  • No contractual recovery-point objective.
  • No SOC 2 report.
  • No business associate agreement.
  • No multi-region deployment.
  • No dedicated infrastructure.
  • No 24×7 support.

Enterprise

Order form

Custom annual order form

Enterprise is a contract, not a bigger box of modules. It is agreed by email and signed on an order form — deliberately, there is no checkout and no automated funnel. Everything the self-serve plans include is already included here.

  • Custom credential exchange (scoped credential minting).
  • Scoped dedicated engineering: policy authoring, tuning, connectors built for you.
  • LTS, air-gap and OTA mirror; several legal entities; more than two productions; more than five active identity providers.
  • OEM, MSP and redistribution — the route through the redistribution exception.
  • Capped indemnity, DPA and procurement support.
  • Email first-response objectives, best effort and not penalty-backed: P1 within 4 business hours, P2 within 1 business day, P3 within 3 business days.

What you actually pay for

Olivares AI is open-core. The open AGPL-3.0 build is the governance platform itself, free and open source, with unlimited users. There is no crippled “community edition”, and there is no seat tax: SSO is in the open build.

AGPL-3.0 is strong copyleft. When your policy blocks AGPL, or you want the maintained signed release channel where you approve every upgrade, a Business licence grants a commercial exemption for the runtime. Add-ons are then priced by the job they do, never by headcount.

Everything commercial is term-based: your commercial rights run to the end of the term you paid for. No payment earns a perpetual right and nothing gets frozen into a stale feature line. Your data, your export and the open core are never term-limited.

What we can and cannot do to you

We can switch off our paid add-ons at the end of the term; we cannot switch off your AGPL core, and we cannot take your data.

How buying works

The full purchase terms — tax treatment, renewal, cancellation and the money-back window — are published together with the commercial terms document when checkout opens. Until then, nothing on this page can be bought.

Pricing questions

Is the full product really free?

Yes. Community is the full AGPL-3.0 platform, free, self-hosted and with unlimited users. It is not a cut-down edition and there is no licence key.

Do I pay per user?

No. There is no seat count anywhere in the model. Community is free, Business is priced per deployment, and each add-on is priced by the job it does — users are unlimited on all of them. The service-account quota on Cloud is a limit of the managed platform, not a user cap.

What is the difference between Community and Business?

The platform is the same open code. Business adds the commercial licence (the AGPL exemption for the runtime), the maintained signed release channel where you approve each upgrade plan, the Starter preset and business-hours email support. Add-ons then price specific jobs on top.

Are the add-ons separate plans?

No. There is one commercial plan, Business. The four add-ons attach to it, require it, and share its renewal date. “Business + Regulated Operations” and “Business Max” are not products you can buy on their own — they are Business with one or four add-ons attached, and the price is the sum of those lines.

Is there a discount for taking several add-ons?

No. The multi-add-on figures are simply the sum of the lines — they are not bundle SKUs and they carry no bundle discount. The only discount is annual billing: you pay for ten months and get twelve.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not shorten or prorate the term you already paid for: every paid line runs to the shared renewal date, and then Business and its add-ons end together. Removing a single add-on leaves Business and the others untouched and ends only that add-on at the next billing date.

What happens when the term ends?

The commercial licence and the paid add-ons stop at the end of the term you paid for. The open core keeps running, your data stays yours, and your export keeps working. We can switch off our paid add-ons at the end of the term; we cannot switch off your AGPL core and we cannot take your data.

Can I buy Enterprise online?

No, and that is deliberate. Enterprise is a custom annual order form agreed by email. It covers contract work — air-gap, redistribution, several legal entities, procurement terms, and email first-response objectives that are best effort and not penalty-backed — rather than a hidden box of extra modules.

When can I buy?

Checkout opens once the commercial launch prerequisites are met. Until then every buy button writes to us by email, and no commercial figure is published on this page.
