Pricing · Open-core

The full product is free . You pay for the license, not the features.

Olivares AI is open-core. The complete product is open source under AGPL-3.0 — the same code in every edition. A commercial license lifts the AGPL obligations for organizations that need that, and an enterprise tier adds dedicated, negotiated terms.

Self-host

AGPL-3.0

Free

The complete product, on your own infrastructure.

For individuals, teams and anyone who can adopt the AGPL-3.0 license.

  • The complete product — no feature gates on the core.
  • Runs entirely in your own environment, with no mandatory calls home.
  • Inspect, modify and self-host freely under AGPL-3.0.
  • Community support through the public repository.

Commercial

AGPL exemption

Pricing to be confirmed

Self-serve checkout at launch — no sales call required.

For organizations whose policy cannot adopt AGPL — corporate open-source offices, redistributors, or anyone offering it as a hosted service.

  • The same product under a commercial license — not a feature unlock.
  • Use it internally without AGPL's obligation to publish your modifications.
  • Modify it privately and embed it in your own systems.
  • Bought online: automated checkout, invoice and VAT handled, license issued.

Enterprise

Dedicated

Let's talk

Negotiated terms and dedicated attention.

For large deployments that need dedicated support and negotiated terms.

  • A commercial license for your whole organization.
  • Dedicated, direct support with a named contact.
  • Negotiated terms for scale, procurement and security review.
  • Roadmap add-ons (managed cloud, support tiers) are additive — never removed from the free product.

The product is pre-release. We will publish commercial pricing when it is set — until then, no figures, just a conversation.

What you actually pay for

Olivares AI is open-core. The complete product is free and open source under AGPL-3.0 — the same code in every edition. There is no crippled "community edition".

AGPL-3.0 is strong copyleft: if you run a modified version as a network service, you have to offer your changes back. That works for most teams. When it does not — when a corporate policy blocks AGPL, or you need to embed or offer the product without that obligation — a commercial license grants an exemption from those terms.

So you pay for the legal exemption and for dedicated support, never to unlock a feature. The product you run is the same in every case.

Pricing questions

Is the full product really free?

Yes. The self-hosted edition is the complete product, free to run on your own infrastructure under AGPL-3.0. The commercial and enterprise editions sell a license and dedicated support — not extra features.

What's the difference between the editions?

The same product, under a different license. Self-host is AGPL-3.0. The commercial edition grants an exemption from the AGPL obligations for organizations that cannot adopt copyleft. Enterprise adds dedicated support and negotiated terms.

Do I have to pay to evaluate it?

No. You can run the AGPL self-hosted edition for evaluation and for production at no license cost.

If it is free, why would I buy a license?

Because AGPL-3.0's copyleft, including its network clause, does not fit every organization. Some corporate policies block AGPL; some teams embed or redistribute the product, or offer it as a hosted service. The commercial license grants an exemption so you can use the same product under terms that fit.

How much does the commercial license cost?

We have not published a figure yet — the product is pre-release. Contact us and we will discuss specifics; we will publish pricing once it is set.
